MassCat is a Shopify app that changes collections and tags in bulk from a simple list. Paste SKUs or barcodes, or select products with filters, then create a collection, add products to or remove them from collections, replace a collection’s content, or add and remove tags. No CSV needed.

MassCat edits the products you pick in a collection: it adds them, removes them or replaces them. If a collection also uses rules (automated conditions), those rules are left untouched. MassCat only changes the products it lists in the review before you apply.

You can paste a list of SKUs or barcodes, or build a filter with ALL / ANY logic on:

• Inventory and price (including compare-at price)
• Tag, vendor, product type and category
• Title, SKU and barcode patterns, variant title and weight
• Created / updated dates and collections
• Your product and variant metafields

Yes. Add or remove tags in bulk on any selection. MassCat suggests the tags already used in your store, and only writes real changes.

Yes. Select several collections in the same action, for example “Homepage” and “Black Friday” together.

No. Copy and paste a column straight from Excel, Google Sheets, a supplier email or a PDF. Duplicates are ignored and unknown references are flagged before anything changes.

Yes. When your list contains variant SKUs or barcodes, you choose: add whole products (all their variants), or only the variants in your list.

Yes. Every change is listed in your activity history. Undo shows you a preview first, and only reverts what MassCat changed. Products you edited since are left alone.

You can install it directly from the Shopify App Store: Install MassCat on Shopify.

You manage your subscription from the app; billing goes through Shopify. Any cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing cycle.
